A wedding dress can be very heavy, and clumsy to carry. I think a good bustle is very important. I've seen the bustle break, and the Bride has to carry it around all night long. Not cool. Before the wedding double check your bustle, and have a practice bustle with somebody who is at the wedding, and you may even want to ask you seamstress to put in an reinforcing hook, or two.
